I wrote my own reasons for why learning Spanish is worthwhile and then pasted those into Wordle - isn't it cool?
You can create your own wordles from prescribed texts, from student essays, or from newspaper articles, and then use them for many different activities. For example,
- let students write their own article before showing them the orginal one.
- cut and paste student essays and compare the results to discuss what has and hasn't been included
- Find out what ideas and vocabulary is most important
